Sinn Fein/Joe Higgins/Richard Boyd Barrett to save Tory embarrassment?

The British Tories: Friend of the Irish worker?

The British Tories: Friend of the Irish worker?

Interesting piece from The Sunday Telegraph here (Yes, I read it. Know thine enemy, etc? I’d read An Phoblacht too only I don’t want to be on a Special Branch list.)  A Yes vote in Ireland will cause chaos in the Tories, because it will force their moderate eurosceptic leadership into a fight with the “Better off out of the EU” crowd. Whereas a No vote will allow them to unite with the Irish No lobby. You know, the people they share so much in common with?

The Tories believe the EU gives workers too many rights. Which is the exact opposite of what the No lobby say, funnily enough. Yet these are the people the No side claim they can negotiate an alternative to Lisbon with?

It’s that guy from that thing: Arnold Vosloo

Oh no, here comes that menancing slightly foriegn looking guy!

Arnold Vosloo: Oh no, here comes that menacing slightly foriegn looking guy!

In recent years, if you want a vaguely Arab looking gent to play your baddy, then Arnold Vosloo is almost certainly going to be top of your list. From the baddy in “The Mummy” to a particularly devious Arab terrorist in “24″, South African born Vosloo is your only man. It’s not commonly known that he took Liam Neeson’s place in not one but two sequels to “Darkman.”

No, I didn’t see them either. Constantly being mistaken for Billy Zane from “Titanic”, it’s really only a matter of time before Billy Zane starts getting mistaken for him.
